SV-85 Modbus Plus Adaptor plugs into a single slot of a VMEbus-basedsystem. The Modbus Plus network is a high-speed, peer-to-peercommunications network designed to connect Modicon's high-performance 984controller family, plant floor computers, and other factory floordevices. Typical applications for the Modbus Plus network are dataacquisition and monitoring, program upload and download, programmingacross the network, and interfacing to manufacturing applications runningon plant computer systems.Modicon's SV-85 Network Adaptor is the hardware used to connect VMEbus-based host systems to the Modbus Plus network.
